Priority Booking Explained

Sometimes, plans change—or business happens fast. FLYT lets you book aircraft at short notice while maintaining guaranteed access.

When Priority Booking Premium Applies

Booked within 72 hours of departure.

Surcharge:

Why It Exists:

Short-notice flights require special routing, tighter scheduling, and limited aircraft availability. The premium reflects these operational realities while still securing your access.

Peak Travel Date Premiums

Major holidays and high-demand periods often carry additional costs across the private aviation industry

When Peak Premiums Apply:

OPERATIONAL REASONING:

Operators face increased demand and limited fleet flexibility during peak periods. The premium helps secure your flight amid this congestion—without bidding wars or retail charter markups.

New Year’s Day: Jan 1-3

Presidents' Day Weekend: Feb 14-17

Spring Break Weeks: March 7-23

Memorial Day Weekend: May 23-27

Independence Day: July 3-7

Labor Day Weekend: Aug 29-Sept 2

Thanksgiving Week: Nov 22-Dec 1

Christmas & New Year: Dec 20-Jan 5 (2026)

How It’s Applied

FLYT makes these surcharges simple:

Always capped:

You’ll never pay more than the listed maximum premium (30%)

Always visible:

Surcharges appear clearly at the time of booking

Always optional:

You can opt to fly at standard rates outside premium windows
