Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about how FLYT works, what’s included, and why we’re unlike anything else in private aviation.

About the FLYT Model

What is FLYT?

FLYT is a private aviation subscription that gives you owner-level access to a global fleet of jets without the cost or complexity of owning an aircraft. You pay an annual subscription fee and fly at deeply discounted hourly rates with no repositioning fees.

How is this different from jet cards or fractional ownership?

Jet cards and fractional programs lock you into long-term contracts and high upfront costs. FLYT offers flexibility, transparency, and ultra-low occupied hourly rates with no asset commitment or expiration.

Who is FLYT for?

Frequent flyers, business travelers, entrepreneurs, families, and aviation enthusiasts who want consistent, affordable, and flexible access to private jets—without owning one.

Membership & Pricing

How much does a FLYT membership cost?

Memberships start with a flat annual fee, which replaces traditional overhead costs. Pricing varies based on aircraft category access and volume tiers. Contact us for custom pricing based on your travel needs.

Are there minimum flying hours required?

There is no minimum usage requirement, but memberships are structured around an assumed annual usage (e.g. 25 hours) for pricing and risk-pooling purposes. Most members fly less than their allocated access, which helps keep rates low.

Do I have to pre-fund a jet card or deposit money in advance?

No jet card or deposit is required. Flights are billed per trip. Optional account pre-funding may be available for frequent flyers or corporate accounts.

Booking & Access

How do I book a flight?

Flights can be booked through our 24/7 concierge team or via our app. You can submit trip details and receive options instantly.

How quickly can I book?

Same-day bookings are often available, depending on the departure city and aircraft type. We recommend 24–48 hours for optimal availability.

Can I choose the type of aircraft?

You select an aircraft category (e.g. Light Jet, Midsize Jet). FLYT assigns the optimal aircraft within that category to manage positioning costs and maintain owner-level pricing. Specific aircraft selection may incur surcharges where available.

Aircraft & Operations

What types of aircraft are available?

Light jets, midsize jets, super-mids, heavy jets, and long-range aircraft. You’ll have access to 20,000+ aircraft globally.

Who operates the flights?

All flights are operated by third-party licensed air carriers with full operational control and safety oversight. FLYT is a platform and membership provider, not a direct air carrier.

Are there blackout dates or peak-day surcharges?

There are no blackout dates, however peak-day and short-notice pricing adjustments may apply to reflect higher real-world operating costs. These are transparently disclosed at booking.

Flexibility & Policies

Can I cancel my membership?

Memberships are billed annually. You may cancel at the end of your billing cycle, but all memberships are non-refundable once active.

Can I share my membership?

Yes, memberships can be shared within your household or business organization. Multi-user and enterprise memberships are also available.

What if I need to cancel or change a flight?

Cancellations and changes follow the operator’s terms and timelines, but our team will work to minimize penalties wherever possible.

Are there minimum billable flight times?

Yes. To ensure economic sustainability, FLYT applies minimum billable flight times per leg, which vary by aircraft category (e.g. higher minimums for heavy and long-range jets).

Can I fly different aircraft classes than my membership?

Yes. Members may fly down to lower cabin classes freely, or one class above their subscription with a pricing multiplier. Multi-class subscriptions are available.
